June is National Safety Month , a month set aside by the National Safety Council to communicate the importance of safety at work, home and on the road. The goal of this observance is to highlight some of the causes of preventable injuries and deaths so that we as a country can be educated to help avoid accidents as much as possible.
The team at Millwood’s Waterford, NY location achieved one year without an accident on April 7 . The safety team held a celebration at the facility on May 17, which included a catered lunch from Dinosaur BBQ and a gift for each team member as a token of their appreciation.

On April 13, they celebrated the milestone with a luncheon, which was attended by team members from both shifts, Plant Administrator David Davis, Plant Clerk Ruth Young and several guests from operations leadership and the corporate office.
