Millwood Hosts 11th Annual Millwood Gathering to Hear What God is Doing

On Tuesday, May 9, Millwood held its 11th annual Millwood Gathering at Faith Family Church in Canton, OH. Team members from across the country gathered to honor Christ and join in fellowship. This year's theme was "Hear What God Is Doing" and featured video testimonies, praise and worship, breakout sessions, prayer and more.

The Gathering is a highly-anticipated event for our team members of faith, as it provides an opportunity to join in fellowship to honor God and share testimonies of the impact He has had on Millwood and its team members. The blessings and miracles experienced by our team members inspired the theme for this year’s gathering: Hear What God is Doing.

The event kicked off with a prayer and opening remarks from Millwood Co-Owners/Presidents Chip Trebilcock and Steve Miller. The presentations consisted of messages of encouragement, praise and worship and videos highlighting the ways in which God has touched the lives of Millwood’s team members over the past year. Speakers included Millwood chaplains and spiritual mentors.

The Gathering began as a way for Millwood chaplains to connect and share testimonies but has since expanded to include more team members. For the third year in a row, the event was livestreamed directly to each of our facilities, with a livestream link sent to any team members unable to attend in person. In a mentorship effort, each Millwood chaplain was encouraged to bring a team member from their facility to experience The Gathering in person.

The Gathering is one of the ways Millwood puts God at the forefront of what we do. Our mission is that all who come in contact with Millwood would clearly see the love of Christ in all that we do, and this annual event is an opportunity to bring that love to the center stage and be celebrated.

Millwood is blessed to be able to provide ways for our team members to come together to worship and learn and grow in their faith.
