Millwood’s mission is that all who come in contact with our company would clearly see the love of Christ in all that we do. As the foundation of all we are able to accomplish at Millwood, our team members are our first priority in that mission.
This summer, team members from Millwood facilities across the country held events focused on the people to provide opportunities for fun and fellowship outside of the workplace.
Many locations held traditional family-centered summer picnics, including several Ohio facilities, who gather annually at Camp Carl in Ravenna, OH.
Outside of company picnics, team members found creative ways to gather with one another. Team members in South Carolina participated in paintball as a team building event, and one Pennsylvania team enjoyed a trip to Kennywood, a historic amusement park and state landmark.
Several Millwood facilities also celebrated location-specific milestones and events, including one facility which celebrated team members with 15 or more years at the company. Facilities in Hamilton, OH and Simpsonville, SC also held safety anniversary celebrations this summer.
Team members in Ohio and Tennessee gathered for annual Man Up events, spending time in fellowship in nature and in God’s word.
As summer came to a close, many facilities also participated in back-to-school events for the benefit of team members as well as their surrounding communities.
As we say goodbye to one season and hello to the next, we reflect with gratitude on the many ways God has provided us to celebrate our team members, gather in fellowship and share the love of Christ as one Millwood family.
