Modex 2022 is around the corner, and the Millwood team couldn’t be more excited. After a two-year hiatus from in-person trade shows, we are ready to head to Modex 2022 to reconnect with customers and friends in the industry.
Our team this year is made up of trade show veterans eager to get back into the swing of things and new faces looking forward to their first trade show with Millwood.
Will Bayliff, district sales manager, Marcus Alonzo and Brian Clayton, regional sales managers, are all first-time trade show attendees. Having joined the team during the height of COVID-19 restrictions, Modex 2022 is their first opportunity to attend a trade show as Millwood team members. They are eager to meet new people and learn more about the packaging and supply chain industry.
“My goal for this trade show is to continue to learn the diversity of the pallet and lumber market as well as machinery and its advantages,” Marcus said. “It will be a great learning experience, with invaluable lessons and introductions.”
Assistant Director Kyle Countryman is happy to have a chance to reconnect with trade show regulars once again.
“We always enjoy seeing our customers and vendors who come out to these shows,” he said. “It’s a great time to reconnect with everyone.”
Paige Greene, Millwood’s trade show manager, echoes Kyle’s sentiment. She looks forward to catching up with customers, vendors and fellow trade show managers from other companies.
“Because MHI has such a robust program to support their trade show attendees, I have gotten to know other trade show managers and always look forward to catching up with them and hearing about how their planning went,” she said. “The last show ended just as the country shut down and many people pulled out last minute, so it will be nice to catch up with people I haven’t seen since 2018.”
National Accounts Manager Adam Day is looking forward to meeting new people and is excited to get back out to trade shows after such a long break.
"I haven’t been to a trade show in years, so I am looking forward to seeing how technology continues to evolve and change the packaging industry,” Adam said. “My goal for this show is to obtain as many new leads and customer contacts as possible through booth interactions and by walking around to see other companies booths.”
Each member of the trade show team expects a productive, fun show and many opportunities to make a wide variety of new connections. Check out our past Trade Show Tuesday blog posts detailing Modex 2022’s featured speakers and our top trade show tips for new or rusty attendees!
The show will be held March 28-31 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. If you aren't yet registered for the show, sign up here.
