Millwood leadership continues to monitor the ongoing concerns regarding coronavirus COVID-19 and has prepared this official statement; see below. Stay tuned for any new details as we move forward during a time when change is inevitable while we all adapt to this growing pandemic. We recommend that you do what you can to prevent the spread of this coronavirus and practice social distancing whenever possible to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Millwood, Inc. continues to closely monitor developments with respect to COVID-19. We continue to monitor the situation and are taking appropriate steps to safeguard our employees, vendors and customers.

Securing our supply chain is a priority, and we are communicating with suppliers and transportation partners to prepare for any contingency plans if needed. The Department of Homeland Security has designated pallets as essential critical to the transportation of goods to the public. Without pallets, manufacturers cannot move the food, medicines, and other necessities to the public.  In addition, the raw materials needed to produce these products are also delivered on pallets.

At this time, we do not see any potential impact to our raw material supply chain or our ability to continue supply to our customers. We do not foresee any specific disruptions of our supply chain. Shipments to our customers are still flowing.

The CDC encourages employees with symptoms of acute respiratory illness such as fevers or cough to stay home until they are without symptoms for at least 24 hours. The CDC has previously noted that COVID-19 is most contagious while an individual is exhibiting symptoms. For this reason, it is crucial that employees be sent home or refrain from coming into work if they have any symptoms of the virus.
