Millwood is honored and humbled to have been selected for the 2023 Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s Excellence in Manufacturing Award.
The Excellence in Manufacturing Award is given each year by the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber and MAGNET and honors manufacturers in the Youngstown/Warren region of Ohio that exhibit excellence in business operations, community service and product innovation.
The award is focused on several criteria, including company history, growth, areas in which the business excels and the new products they create and new services they offer.
Millwood was announced Thursday as this year’s winner at the annual Economic Forecast breakfast at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield, OH after opening remarks from WFMJ Co-Anchor/Reporter Steve Vesey. Millwood Chief Financial Officer Bruce Krarup accepted the award.
"We are proud of all the accomplishments of our team members over the past year," Chief Financial Officer Bruce Krarup said. "The people who work at Millwood across the country are doing what God has called them to do in fulfilling our mission of all who come in contact with Millwood would clearly see the love of Christ in all we do."
An economic forecast from Ahmed El Nokali, managing director of capital markets at First National Bank followed the award presentation. The event concluded with a keynote presentation from Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber President & CEO Guy Coviello.
