February 20 marked five years without an accident at Millwood’s Lugoff, SC facility. The team celebrated with a luncheon on March 29.
Team members from safety, HR, corporate and regional operations joined the team in their celebration, thanking them for their commitment to safety and congratulating them on their achievement.
Lugoff currently holds the longest current accident-free record at Millwood.
“The Lugoff plant has set the standard for Millwood’s SCBU operations with five years of accident-free days,” SCBU Safety Director Mondell Elliott said.
This impressive safety record is the result of a concerted effort by every team member to look out for one another and maintain a safe working environment. This dedication has been instrumental in reaching this milestone.
“This accomplishment requires the combined efforts of the entire team and is an example of a facility where people genuinely care about each other, enough to keep them free of harm and injury,” Mondell said. “Safety is no accident, and Lugoff has shown what can be done by a true team.”
