Millwood’s Cleveland, TN location celebrated its accident-free anniversary on January 24, and the team celebrated on February 7 with a cake and lunch catered by a local church’s youth group.
“We here at Cleveland take every day as a milestone. When the team members leave for home at the end of their shift with no injuries, that is a milestone for us,” Plant Manager Lanny Lester said.
Team member Ken Holland expressed gratitude to be in a safe work environment and looks forward to reaching more safety milestones as a team.
“I honestly feel great about the one year milestone of no accidents, knowing the fact that a calendar year was accomplished here in Cleveland,” he said. “It also lets me know there are many more accident free years to come. I’m happy to know that we are all safe at the facility.”
The team works together to ensure that each team member goes home the way they arrived at work, safe and uninjured.
“All of us at Cleveland look out for each other as if we are family, which we are,” Lanny said. “We strive to make tomorrow safer than today and continue for years to come.”
