Christmas Joy Unveiled: Volunteers Spread Love at The Rescue Mission

Team members in Ohio showed the love of Christ at The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley ahead of Christmas.

About one dozen Millwood team members volunteered to help with set up at The Rescue Mission in Youngstown days before its Winter Wonderland event.

The Winter Wonderland program has been a holiday tradition for over 30 years.

It provides The Rescue Mission's clients with an opportunity to select Christmas presents for their families from gifts donated to the Mission, many of which were donated through Millwood's 15th annual Shop Til You Drop event last month.

Many local businesses, churches and neighbors also donated gifts to the program as well.

The Winter Wonderland allows families and children spending the holiday at the Mission to open gifts on Christmas morning.

Team member volunteers sorted gifts by gender and age.

The Winter Wonderland is happening Friday at the Rescue Mission’s new building, located at 1300 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

To God be the glory for the opportunity to serve alongside the team at The Rescue Mission. Millwood's mission is that all who come in contact with our company clearly see the love of Christ in all that we do, and opportunities like this one allow us to put it into action.
