Millwood, Inc. is focused on growth, and in 2022, the company grew to the tune of five new facilities and nearly 100 team members.

Each location represents the beginning of new opportunities for Millwood in new sales territories. More importantly, it created opportunities to expand the influence of Millwood’s mission, which is all who come in contact with Millwood would clearly see the love of Jesus Christ in all that we do.

Millwood is able to support this mission by ensuring a chaplain is at every location to serve all of our team members’ personal, professional and spiritual needs across the country.

Parameters were established by leadership, with input from team members company-wide, to help meet growth goals in 2022 and into the future. The recent acquisitions will allow Millwood to meet those goals.

Cleveland Custom Pallet & Crate: A Millwood, Inc. Company

Millwood’s 10th Ohio and 32nd location nationwide was acquired in May 2022. This acquisition bolstered Millwood’s ability to service the Cleveland, OH area with custom pallets, crates and other products.

Millwood, Inc. Florence 2, SC Operations

A second Florence, SC location was acquired in May 2022 and is located on the same street and services the same customer as our original Florence, SC facility. Millwood acquired the second Florence building after the previous company left the location.

Austin Pallet: A Millwood, Inc. Company

Austin Pallet, Millwood’s 34th location and first in Texas, was acquired in August 2022. This acquisition broadened Millwood’s influence to a wider customer base as we entered the southwest market. Prior to the acquisition, Austin Pallet acted as a co-packer for our CORE Erosion Control product group, and it will continue to do that in addition to pallet manufacturing.

MillTree East: A Millwood, Inc. Company

MillTree East was acquired in September 2022 and is just minutes from Millwood’s original MillTree West location in Waverly, OH. The team at this new location all have transitioned into the Millwood family and work hand-in-hand with the MillTree West team to meet customer demands in southern and central Ohio.

Millwood, Inc. Waco, TX Operations

Millwood acquired its second Texas location in October 2022. The Waco facility is about 80 miles from Austin Pallet, creating additional support for our growing customer base in the central Texas area. Over the next six months to one year, Millwood’s plan is to train the team and equip them with the necessary resources to become a successful Millwood operation.

In January 2023, Millwood added a second pallet repair location in New Jersey for a total of 37 locations nationwide. More growth is planned for Millwood in 2023 through acquisitions and additional operations throughout the U.S. to support new product launches and other programs.
