Lugoff Celebrates Four Years Accident-Free

February 24 marked the fourth year without an accident at Millwood’s Lugoff, SC facility.

The team and their guests celebrated with a catered lunch on April 6. District Manager Kyle Arnold and many Millwood leaders recognized the team for their four years of hard work.

Kyle Arnold also recognized several team members who have been with Lugoff since the start. These team members have been instrumental in improving the culture over the years, keeping our mission statement “that all who come in contact with Millwood to clearly see the love of Christ in all we do” at the forefront.

Repair team members Byron Alvardo, Tyrell Jones, Tyquan Melton, Tyrelle Vincent and Kevin White, Forklift Drivers Larry Colclough and Michael Lee, Maintenance team member Billy Ray and both shift Supervisors, Jorge Silva and Sheron Urquhart have contributed significantly to this safety milestone at Lugoff.

“It means a lot more than just being safe, it's a testament to the culture that you live in,” Millwood Co-Owner/Partner Steve Miller said to the group. “Every company wants to say that you're part of a family, we use the term ‘Millwood Family,’ and we don't use it loosely. It means something. If you're part of Millwood, you're in the family.”

Steve also thanked the group for setting an example for all of Millwood to strive for.

“Thank you again for everything you’ve done and how you represent our company in this local community,” he said. “You set an example to follow.”
