Millwood, Inc. has always been loyal to its roots in Christian ministry, and continues to incorporate Biblical teachings into everyday operations. While normally we prefer to display our Christian identity with quiet humility, on this National Day of Prayer we'd like to share our faith and fellowship with our readers.
Millwood team members all across the country celebrated Earth Day this Sunday. Some helped their children with school projects, others tried their hands at gardening, a few cleaned up their local parks but almost all took the opportunity to spend the day in nature!
After a week of meeting potential customers, visiting with vendors and catching up on industry news the Millwood team has returned home from their trip to Atlanta.
Wonder how Millwood does it, year after year? Here are the golden rules of the trade show business:
Because of the complexity of supply chains, it is easy to lose sight of a single pallet. Unfortunately, the occasional disappearance of a single pallet can cost the pallet industry millions over the course of time. In fact, many pallets, especiallyplastic pallets, become absorbed into the pallet black market.
The Western Pallet Association (WPA) recently held their annual meeting in Rancho Mirage, California. Almost 200 people were in attendence for the "Get the Edge: Stay Sharp in 2018" conference. The meeting is open to both members and nonmembers alike, so Millwood (a member of the WPA) posed the question: why should someone become a member?
Modex hosts a variety of guest speakers, as well as featured entertainment for registered attendees.
Trade shows are opportunities for customers, vendors and suppliers to either network with new faces or reconnect with old friends. However, there's more to the shows than booths, demos and meetings with product managers; it also serves as an opportunity to learn more about the industry.

It happens every New Year's Eve; we make big plans for exercising more, eating better, spending more time with family and other resolutions that become difficult to commit to by the time February rolls around.
